Fire & Hazard Training Services has been providing fire suppression and emergency response training in Christchurch and the greater Canterbury area since 1997.

Based on a professional background in emergency response and management, we are able to offer a range of fire safety and emergency response training courses including Fire Extinguisher, Fire Warden, Breathing Apparatus and Hazardous Substances.
All of the course options can be tailored to suit your specific workplace requirements and range from the basic through to NZQA unit standard qualification*

*(NZQA unit standard courses must follow the prescribed performance criteria)

The practical emergency response knowledge and experience of our instructors adds value to your training experience and ensures that the training delivered is relevant to actual emergency situations.

The range of portable fire extinguishers we offer includes Carbon Dioxide, Dry Powder, Foam, Water and Wet Chemical. Fire Blankets are also available. The fire extinguishers available are the same make that we use for our fire training so customers can be assured that these brands of extinguisher has been used extensively by us over the last five to six years and have proven to be very reliable.
